Bible Version
Book
Chapter
1
WoeH1945 to you that spoil,H7703 and you were not spoiled;H7703 and deal treacherously,H898 and they dealt not treacherouslyH898 with you! when you shall ceaseH8552 to spoil,H7703 you shall be spoiled;H7703 and when you shall make an endH5239 to deal treacherously,H898 they shall deal treacherouslyH898 with you.
2
O LORD,H3068 be graciousH2603 to us; we have waitedH6960 for you: be you their armH2220 every morning,H1242 our salvationH3444 alsoH637 in the timeH6256 of trouble.H6869
3
At the noiseH6963 of the tumultH1995 the peopleH5971 fled;H5074 at the liftingH7427 up of yourself the nationsH1471 were scattered.H5310
4
And your spoilH7998 shall be gatheredH622 like the gatheringH625 of the caterpillar:H2625 as the runningH4944 to and fro of locustsH1357 shall he runH8264 on them.
5
The LORDH3068 is exalted;H7682 for he dwellsH7931 on high:H4791 he has filledH4390 ZionH6726 with judgmentH4941 and righteousness.H6666
6
And wisdomH2451 and knowledgeH1847 shall be the stabilityH530 of your times,H6256 and strengthH2633 of salvation:H3444 the fearH3374 of the LORDH3068 is his treasure.H214
7
Behold,H2005 their valiantH691 ones shall cryH6817 without:H2351 the ambassadorsH4397 of peaceH7965 shall weepH1058 bitterly.H4751
8
The highwaysH4546 lie waste,H8074 the wayfaringH5674 H734 man ceases:H7673 he has brokenH6565 the covenant,H1285 he has despisedH3988 the cities,H5892 he regardsH2803 noH3808 man.H582
9
The earthH776 mournsH56 and languishes:H535 LebanonH3844 is ashamedH2659 and hewnH7060 down: SharonH8289 is like a wilderness;H6160 and BashanH1316 and CarmelH3760 shakeH5287 off their fruits.
10
NowH6258 will I rise,H6965 saidH559 the LORD;H3068 nowH6258 will I be exalted;H7311 nowH6258 will I liftH5375 up myself.
11
You shall conceiveH2029 chaff,H2842 you shall bringH3205 forthH3205 stubble:H7179 your breath,H7307 as fire,H784 shall devourH398 you.
12
And the peopleH5971 shall be as the burningsH4955 of lime:H7875 as thornsH6975 cutH3683 up shall they be burnedH3341 in the fire.H784
13
Hear,H8085 you that are farH7350 off, whatH834 I have done;H6213 and, you that are near,H7138 acknowledgeH3045 my might.H1369
14
The sinnersH2400 in ZionH6726 are afraid;H6342 fearfulnessH7461 has surprisedH270 the hypocrites.H120 H2611 WhoH4310 among us shall dwellH1481 with the devouringH398 fire?H784 whoH4310 among us shall dwellH1481 with everlastingH5769 burnings?H4168
15
He that walksH1980 righteously,H6666 and speaksH1696 uprightly;H4339 he that despisesH3988 the gainH1214 of oppressions,H4642 that shakesH5287 his handsH3709 from holdingH8551 of bribes,H7810 that stopsH331 his earsH241 from hearingH8085 of blood,H1818 and shutsH6105 his eyesH5869 from seeingH7200 evil;H7451
16
He shall dwellH7931 on high:H4791 his place of defenseH4869 shall be the munitionsH4679 of rocks:H5553 breadH3899 shall be givenH5414 him; his watersH4325 shall be sure.H539
17
Your eyesH5869 shall seeH2372 the kingH4428 in his beauty:H3308 they shall beholdH7200 the landH776 that is veryH4801 farH4801 off.
18
Your heartH3820 shall meditateH1897 terror.H367 WhereH346 is the scribe?H5608 whereH346 is the receiver?H8254 whereH346 is he that countedH5608 the towers?H4026
19
You shall not seeH7200 a fierceH3267 people,H5971 a peopleH5971 of a deeperH6012 speechH8193 than you can perceive;H8085 of a stammeringH3932 tongue,H3956 that you can not understand.H998
20
LookH2372 on Zion,H6726 the cityH7151 of our solemnities:H4150 your eyesH5869 shall seeH7200 JerusalemH3389 a quietH7600 habitation,H5116 a tabernacleH168 that shall not be takenH6813 down; not one of the stakesH3489 thereof shall everH5331 be removed,H5265 neitherH1077 shall anyH3605 of the cordsH2256 thereof be broken.H5423
21
But thereH8033 the gloriousH117 LORDH3068 will be to us a placeH4725 of broadH7338 H3027 riversH5103 and streams;H2975 wherein shall goH3212 noH1077 galleyH590 with oars,H7885 neitherH3808 shall gallantH117 shipH6716 passH5674 thereby.
22
For the LORDH3068 is our judge,H8199 the LORDH3068 is our lawgiver,H2710 the LORDH3068 is our king;H4428 he will saveH3467 us.
23
Your tacklingsH2256 are loosed;H5203 they could not wellH3651 strengthenH2388 their mast,H8650 they could not spreadH6566 the sail:H5251 thenH227 is the preyH5706 of a greatH4766 spoilH7998 divided;H2505 the lameH6455 takeH962 the prey.H957
24
And the inhabitantH7934 shall not say,H559 I am sick:H2470 the peopleH5971 that dwellH3427 therein shall be forgivenH5375 their iniquity.H5771
