And ManoahH4495 said,H559 NowH6258 let your wordsH1697 comeH935 to pass.H935 HowH4100 shall we orderH4941 the child,H5288 and how shall we doH6213 to him?

And the angelH4397 of the LORDH3068 saidH559 to Manoah,H4495 Of allH3605 that I saidH559 to the womanH802 let her beware.H8104

She may not eatH398 of anyH3605 thing that comesH3318 of the vine,H1612 neitherH408 let her drinkH8354 wineH3196 or strong drink,H7941 norH408 eatH398 anyH3605 uncleanH2932 thing: allH3605 that I commandedH6680 her let her observe.H8104

And ManoahH4495 saidH559 to the angelH4397 of the LORD,H3068 I prayH4994 you, let us detainH6113 you, untilH5704 we shall have madeH6213 ready a kidH1423 H5795 for you.

And the angelH4397 of the LORDH3068 saidH559 to Manoah,H4495 ThoughH518 you detainH6113 me, I will not eatH398 of your bread:H3899 and ifH518 you will offerH6213 a burntH5930 offering, you must offerH5927 it to the LORD.H3068 For ManoahH4495 knewH3045 not that he was an angelH4397 of the LORD.H3068

And ManoahH4495 saidH559 to the angelH4397 of the LORD,H3068 WhatH4310 is your name,H8034 that whenH3588 your sayingsH1697 comeH935 to passH935 we may do you honor?H3513

And the angelH4397 of the LORDH3068 saidH559 to him, WhyH4100 askH7592 you thusH2088 after my name,H8034 seeing it is secret?H6383

So ManoahH4495 tookH3947 a kidH1423 H5795 with a meat offering,H4503 and offeredH5927 it on a rockH6697 to the LORD:H3068 and the angel didH6213 wondrously;H6381 and ManoahH4495 and his wifeH802 lookedH7200 on.

For it cameH1961 to pass, when the flameH3851 wentH5927 up toward heavenH8064 from offH5921 the altar,H4196 that the angelH4397 of the LORDH3068 ascendedH5927 in the flameH3851 of the altar.H4196 And ManoahH4495 and his wifeH802 lookedH7200 on it, and fellH5307 onH5921 their facesH6440 to the ground.H776

And ManoahH4495 saidH559 to his wife,H802 We shall surely die,H4191 becauseH3588 we have seenH7200 God.H430

But his wifeH802 saidH559 to him, IfH3863 the LORDH3068 were pleasedH2654 to killH4191 us, he would not have receivedH3947 a burntH5930 offeringH4503 and a meat offering at our hands,H3027 neitherH3808 would he have showedH7200 us allH3605 theseH428 things,H1697 norH3808 would as at this timeH6256 have toldH8085 us such thingsH1697 as these.H2063

And the womanH802 boreH3205 a son,H1121 and calledH7121 his nameH8034 Samson:H8123 and the childH5288 grew,H1431 and the LORDH3068 blessedH1288 him.

And the SpiritH7307 of the LORDH3068 beganH2490 to moveH6470 him at times in the campH4264 of DanH1835 betweenH996 ZorahH6881 and Eshtaol.H847
