At the endH7093 of every sevenH7651 yearsH8141 you shall makeH6213 a release.H8059
2
And thisH2088 is the mannerH1697 of the release:H8059 EveryH3605 creditorH1167 that lendsH5383 ought to his neighborH7453 shall releaseH8058 it; he shall not exactH5065 it of his neighbor,H7453 or of his brother;H251 becauseH3588 it is calledH7121 the LORD'sH3068 release.H8059
3
Of a foreignerH5237 you may exactH5065 it again: but that whichH834 is your with your brotherH251 your handH3027 shall release;H8058
4
SaveH657 whenH3588 there shall be noH3808 poorH34 among you; for the LORDH3068 shall greatly blessH1288 you in the landH776 whichH834 the LORDH3068 your GodH430 givesH5414 you for an inheritanceH5159 to possessH3423 it:
5
OnlyH7535 ifH518 you carefullyH8085 listenH8085 to the voiceH6963 of the LORDH3068 your God,H430 to observeH8104 to doH6213 allH3605 theseH2063 commandmentsH4687 whichH834 I commandH6680 you this day.H3117
6
For the LORDH3068 your GodH430 blessesH1288 you, as he promisedH1696 you: and you shall lendH5670 to manyH7227 nations,H1471 but you shall not borrow;H5670 and you shall reignH4910 over manyH7227 nations,H1471 but they shall not reignH4910 over you.
7
IfH3588 there be among you a poorH34 man of oneH259 of your brothersH251 within anyH259 of your gatesH8179 in your landH776 whichH834 the LORDH3068 your GodH430 givesH5414 you, you shall not hardenH553 your heart,H3824 norH3808 shutH7092 your handH3027 from your poorH34 brother:H251
8
But you shall openH6605 your handH3027 wideH6605 to him, and shall surely lendH5670 him sufficientH1767 for his need,H4270 in that whichH834 he wants.H2637
9
BewareH8104 that there be not a thoughtH1697 in your wickedH1100 heart,H3824 saying,H559 The seventhH7637 year,H8141 the yearH8141 of release,H8059 is atH7126 hand;H7126 and your eyeH5869 be evilH7489 against your poorH34 brother,H251 and you giveH5414 him nothing;H3808 and he cryH7121 to the LORDH3068 againstH5921 you, and it be sinH2399 to you.
10
You shall surely giveH5414 him, and your heartH3824 shall not be grievedH7489 when you giveH5414 to him: becauseH3588 that for thisH2088 thingH1697 the LORDH3068 your GodH430 shall blessH1288 you in allH3605 your works,H4639 and in allH3605 that you putH4916 your handH3027 to.
11
For the poorH34 shall neverH3808 ceaseH2308 out of the land:H776 thereforeH5921 H3651 I commandH6680 you, saying,H559 You shall openH6605 your handH3027 wideH6605 to your brother,H251 to your poor,H6041 and to your needy,H34 in your land.H776
12
And ifH3588 your brother,H251 an HebrewH5680 man, orH176 an HebrewH5680 woman, be soldH4376 to you, and serveH5647 you sixH8337 years;H8141 then in the seventhH7637 yearH8141 you shall let him goH7971 freeH2670 from you.
13
And whenH3588 you sendH7971 him out freeH2670 from you, you shall not let him goH7971 away empty:H7387
14
You shall furnishH6059 him liberallyH6059 out of your flock,H6629 and out of your floor,H1637 and out of your wine press:H3342 of that with whichH834 the LORDH3068 your GodH430 has blessedH1288 you you shall giveH5414 to him.
15
And you shall rememberH2142 that you wereH1961 a slaveH5650 in the landH776 of Egypt,H4714 and the LORDH3068 your GodH430 redeemedH6299 you: thereforeH5921 H3651 I commandH6680 you thisH2088 thingH1697 to day.H3117
16
And it shall be, ifH3588 he sayH559 to you, I will not goH3318 awayH3318 from you; becauseH3588 he lovesH157 you and your house,H1004 becauseH3588 he is wellH2895 with you;
17
Then you shall takeH3947 an awl,H4836 and thrustH5414 it through his earH241 to the door,H1817 and he shall be your servantH5650 for ever.H5769 And alsoH637 to your maidservantH519 you shall doH6213 likewise.H3651
18
It shall not seemH7185 hardH7185 to you, when you sendH7971 him away freeH2670 from you; for he has been worthH7939 a doubleH4932 hiredH7916 servantH7916 to you, in servingH5647 you sixH8337 years:H8141 and the LORDH3068 your GodH430 shall blessH1288 you in allH3605 that you do.H6213
19
AllH3605 the firstlingH1060 malesH2145 that comeH3205 of your herdH1241 and of your flockH6629 you shall sanctifyH6942 to the LORDH3068 your God:H430 you shall do noH3808 workH5647 with the firstlingH1060 of your bullock,H7794 norH3808 shearH1494 the firstlingH1060 of your sheep.H6629
20
You shall eatH398 it beforeH6440 the LORDH3068 your GodH430 yearH8141 by yearH8141 in the placeH4725 whichH834 the LORDH3068 shall choose,H977 you and your household.H1004
21
And ifH3588 there be any blemishH3971 therein, as if it be lame,H6455 orH176 blind,H5787 or have anyH3605 illH7451 blemish,H3971 you shall not sacrificeH2076 it to the LORDH3068 your God.H430
22
You shall eat it within your gates:H8179 the uncleanH2931 and the cleanH2889 person shall eatH398 it alike,H3162 as the roebuck,H6643 and as the hart.H354
23
OnlyH7535 you shall not eatH398 the bloodH1818 thereof; you shall pourH8210 it on the groundH776 as water.H4325
