Go H3212 and tell H559 my servant H5650 David, H1732 Thus H3541 said H559 the LORD, H3068 Shall you build H1129 me an house H1004 for me to dwell H3427 in?

Whereas H3588 I have not dwelled H3427 in any house H1004 since the time H3117 that I brought H5927 up the children H1121 of Israel H3478 out of Egypt, H4714 even to this H2088 day, H3117 but have walked H1980 in a tent H168 and in a tabernacle. H4908

In all H3605 the places wherein H834 I have walked H1980 with all H3605 the children H1121 of Israel H3478 spoke H1696 I a word H1697 with any H259 of the tribes H7626 of Israel, H3478 whom H834 I commanded H6680 to feed H7462 my people H5971 Israel, H3478 saying, H559 Why H4100 build H1129 you not me an house H1004 of cedar? H730

Now H6258 therefore so shall you say H559 to my servant H5650 David, H1732 Thus H3541 said H559 the LORD H3068 of hosts, H6635 I took H3947 you from the sheepcote, H5116 from following H310 the sheep, H6629 to be ruler H5057 over H5921 my people, H5971 over H5921 Israel: H3478

And I was with you wherever H3605 H834 you went, H1980 and have cut H3772 off all H3605 your enemies H341 out of your sight, H6440 and have made H6213 you a great H1419 name, H8034 like to the name H8034 of the great H1419 men that are in the earth. H776

Moreover I will appoint H7760 a place H4725 for my people H5971 Israel, H3478 and will plant H5193 them, that they may dwell H7931 in a place H8478 of their own, and move H7264 no H3808 more; H5750 neither H3808 shall the children H1121 of wickedness H5766 afflict H6031 them any more, H3254 as beforetime, H7223

And as since H4480 the time H3117 that I commanded H6680 judges H8199 to be over H5921 my people H5971 Israel, H3478 and have caused you to rest H5117 from all H3605 your enemies. H341 Also the LORD H3068 tells H5046 you that he will make H6213 you an house. H1004

And when H3588 your days H3117 be fulfilled, H4390 and you shall sleep H7901 with your fathers, H1 I will set H6965 up your seed H2233 after H310 you, which H834 shall proceed H3318 out of your bowels, H4578 and I will establish H3559 his kingdom. H4467

He shall build H1129 an house H1004 for my name, H8034 and I will establish H3559 the throne H3678 of his kingdom H4467 for ever. H5769

I will be his father, H1 and he shall be my son. H1121 If H834 he commit H5753 iniquity, H5753 I will chasten H3198 him with the rod H7626 of men, H582 and with the stripes H5061 of the children H1121 of men: H120

But my mercy H2617 shall not depart H5493 away from him, as I took H5493 it from Saul, H7586 whom H834 I put H5493 away H5493 before H6440 you.

And your house H1004 and your kingdom H4467 shall be established H539 for ever H5769 before H6440 you: your throne H3678 shall be established H3559 for ever. H5769

According to all H3605 these H428 words, H1697 and according to all H3605 this H2088 vision, H2384 so H3651 did Nathan H5416 speak H1696 to David. H1732
